Kitten Chickle Catastrophises

"The sky is falling! The sky is falling!" squealed Kitten Chickle

"How do you know?" said the Dog

"I felt it! I felt it! Something fell on my head!" screamed Kitten Chickle

"How big was it?" said the Frog

"I don't know! I don't know!" shrieked Kitten Chickle

"Well, shouldn't you find out?" said the Pig

"It might not be the sky at all."

The Other Animals Analyse

"What ELSE could it be?" wailed Kitten Chickle

"Well, it might be a raindrop..." said the Duck

"Raindrops drop"

"Or a lollypop..." said the Boy

"They come down with a plop"

"Or even a bottle top..." said the Goat

"Oh." said Kitten Chickle

And Analyse...

"But what if it is the sky?" worried Kitten Chickle

"Well, was what dropped on your head blue?" checked the Dog

"Was it big?" continued the Frog

"Did it have clouds in it?" added the Pig

"No..." said Kitten Chickle

And Analyse...

"Even if the sky were falling," commented the Duck

"So what?"

"I'd share my house if anyone needed shelter" offered the Boy

"And I, my shed" chimed the Goat

"And I suppose there's Dog's kennel, and Frog's pond, and Pig's sty as well!"

marvelled Kitten Chickle

Kitten Chickle Concludes

"I guess the sky isn't falling after all" beamed Kitten Chickle

"And even if it were, I could probably live with it!"
